On Saturday December 22nd, 2007 I was able to visit the SEED Gallery in downtown Newark New Jersey for the first time.
I met Gizem Bacaz, the surprising curator of the visionary art space.
I shared visual projection duties with Miguel. Our styles complimented each other well; his looped DVD material on the far wall of the space, and my projected evolving fractals on the floor beneath it and wall opposite it. The end result was an impressive (in DIY style) pit of moving light, swirling colors, and sound.
The psychedelic trance community seems to have democratically adopted both Gizem and the SEED space as kin. Tony Unorthodox in particular has put alot of time and sweat into the success of the space already.
